Many of our members have a direct booking feature on their own website where you should be able to take advantage of the best prices. Those that don’t will have links to one or more Online Travel Agent sites (OTA such as Booking, Vrbo, AirbnB etc.) where you can make a booking. We encourage all our members to eventually incorporate direct booking apps such as Freetobook and Lodgify on their sites.

Before making a booking via any other method, read our section on verifying owners on our Start Here page. Never respond directly to a comment in a Facebook post to make a booking, and never respond directly to Marketplace offers without first verifying that you are communicating with the genuine property owner. We filter out Marketplace posts but we do not moderate comments on Facebook unless they have been reported to us.

If you are unsure whether the price you are being offered is the best one, you can always contact the owner via their website and publicly available contact details. Try searching by property name on the OTA sites fora direct comparison.

If the website has an SSL certificate and incorporates a direct booking app such as Freetobook or Lodgify, you can be assured that your payments have the same protection as the large OTA booking sites. Keep in mind that the level of protection is set by the FCA and debit cards may be treated differently to credit cards.

All you need to do is apply for membership to our Facebook Group and share your accommodation posts. They will automatically appear in the post Feed page. Those with more comprehensive descriptions will be added over time to our Blog. We will soon be able to display video posts as well as image posts, but for our Blog we need a good static image.

Your posts are automatically included in our post Feed and we do not charge our members for this service. From time to time we may include posts from businesses providing related services, which are chargeable and help to keep the website going.

We aim to provide additional exposure to our members’ properties at no cost to them. If you really cannot see the benefit of this then please contact us and we will remove your property from our Blog.

As holiday home owners ourselves, we understand the challenges of selling a holiday home as a going concern compared to a family home. The transaction can be made far simpler when negotiating with another experienced owner looking to add to their portfolio. We do not advertise properties for sale, and only provide summary details direct to registered prospective buyers. An introduction will only be made once both parties are in agreement to proceed to the next stage.
